Chennai Super Kings chose to bat v Mumbai Indians
MS Dhoni won the toss against his No. 1 India spinner, Harbhajan Singh,
who is captaining Mumbai Indians in Sachin Tendulkar's absence. As
expected Chennai Super Kings chose to bat on a sluggish track. Chennai
played the same XI that won the IPL final.
Mumbai's injury troubles are well-documented, which allowed them to play
five overseas player through a special permission from the Champions
League technical committee.
